Harbinger Productions' Strategy

In contemporary Christian television programming the focus is all too often on how to improve your life now, rather than on how to secure your relationship with God for eternity. This is disconcerting, because God's truth is clear, simple, and available as explained in His Word and with widespread exposure of television, millions could be reached with the gospel. Unfortunately, for the sake of popularity and the money it brings, many televangelists opt to preach a message that is unbiblical and damning. Their theology is based around man and his current felt needs, rather than on God and His redemptive plan for their lives.

While there are certainly sincere individuals teaching truth on TV, they're few and far between. There is no television station, as a whole, that is dedicated to the preaching of God's Word and exercising discernment in their programming. Seeing the great need for Bible-based television programming and a rich mission field of people to be reached, Harbinger Productions wants to change how Christianity is represented on the television by becoming an independent biblically based television station.

We will be a television station passionate about God's Word, striving to achieve quality and innovative programming adhering to the following principles:

• Holding to God's Word as the biblical standard in preaching, teaching and Christian living.
• Holding a non-ecumenical stance. (This is in the context of biblical truth not denomination.)
• Encouraging the study of the bible and its concomitant historical, cultural, and linguistic contexts.
• Exposing Christians to works of history, biography, art, music, and theology.
• Engaging in scholarly inquiry into fields related to biblical studies.
• Pursuing cutting edge television broadcasting grounded in the authority of Scripture.
• Offering our services free of charge to missionaries and churches for the purpose of providing promotional materials for their ministries.
• Pursuing excellence in visual and narrative arts.

Pursuing to be a television station is no easy goal and involves a lot of work and a lot of planning. We at Harbinger Productions are at the beginning of pursuing those goals and will need help and resources to succeed. As of right now, we are just starting our launch campaign to help send us off onto accomplishing the following steps to get us to our goal:

• Organize a research and development task force dedicated to establishing an independent Biblical television station.
• Post results of the task force on the Harbinger Productions' website giving a timeline and estimated cost concerning the pursuits of the fore mentioned goal.
• Obtain a quality professional production staff.
• Continually add to the production staff as funds are available, so as to be working on several productions at the same time.

As the research and development team makes its strides, simultaneously we will begin production. Those productions will include but not be limited to the following:

• "Cutting through the Noise," a promotional film for Harbinger Productions that will complete our website.
• "Death Row," an episodic documentary about a chaplain who ministers to inmates on death row.
• "Heresy Hunter," an episodic documentary about a group of film makers who travel to the frontlines in the war between heresy and truth.

Also simultaneously, Harbinger Productions will pursue relationships with other like minded ministries. These ministries will include the following:

• Conferences and churches for the purpose of obtaining future subscribers by informing their attendees of our ministry.
• Outside television ministries that would help provide enough content to fill Harbinger Productions' television schedule.

Of course these are just broad strokes of our strategy, however as a subscriber we will keep you updated with the progress Harbinger Productions makes. This will be done through our email updates, our quarterly news letter, and our website. As a subscriber, you will be in on the details.
